In this workshop, you’ll learn the main elements of ChiRunning through a series of fun exercises, drills, visualisations and practice.

You’ll work on:

  • postural alignment, relaxation and balance
  • smooth transition from walk to run
    the importance of the upper body and arm swing
  • optimal cadence (strides per minute)
    increased speed through relaxation
  • mental focus and body awareness

You’ll learn how to develop your running skill and create a life-long programme for fitness, health and general well-being.

Suitable for any age, fitness level and runners of all abilities from complete beginners to seasoned marathoners and triathletes.

1-day workshops include individual video observation.

The ChiRunning Instructor Training Programme comprises:

  • Access to a comprehensive Online Training Course and teaching materials.
  • Four days of practical workshops including an Advanced Technique and Teacher Training
  • Two one-to-one sessions with the UK Director, delivered online or in-person.

The Programme delivers:

  • An in-depth understanding of the key principles and components of the ChiRunning technique.
  • The tools to teach the ChiRunning Workshops including teaching cues, drills, and exercises.
  • An understanding of basic anatomy and physiology including an overview of the kinetic chain, muscle sling systems, and myofasical meridians.
  • An understanding of the importance of, and science behind, a mindful approach to exercise
  • An introduction to basic business development and connection to the network of ChiRunning Instructors worldwide
